The goal of the POWER AND ENDURANCE Plan is to:
1. Improve stroke power on the Concept2 SkiErg;
2. Improve both anaerobic and aerobic endurance;
3. Provide specific training towards two benchmark time trials, the 1000m and the 30-minute.
Please Note:
ATHLETES WILL REQUIRE AN ACCURATE 2000m PERSONAL BEST TIME/PACE FOR THIS PROGRAM!
In this training plan, athletes will receive 3 sessions a week for 10 weeks, focusing on stroke power while simultaneously improving both anaerobic and aerobic endurance. A great training progression for any athlete looking to improve their capacity on the SkiErg.
