At GARAGEATHLETE, we believe in building the “engine first.” We do this primarily through the use of structured programs on the Concept2 ergs.

The goal of the MARATHON PLAN is to provide a complete training progression that can be used with either the Concept2 Indoor Rowing machine or SkiErg.

Each training week has FIVE sessions, including a taper week (week 12). The final race week (week 13) is a low-volume, 3 session week, meant to have you rested and prepared for the full 42 195m distance.
